EMERALD is a modifier that tints the coat into a jungle-forest green palette, that is sometimes accompanied by browns, creams, mint, and yellow-tinted green markings. While some Emerald suka can appear very subtle in color , referred to as a "muted", others tend to take on the striking green color associated with the gene.

Emerald has seemed to emerge from the "Badlands", but is not necessarily indicative of infection, the average healthy suka has been seen adorning this color.

Emerald can work in conjunction with other modifiers, up to the user's discretion, but at minimum Emerald must effect the base color. Emerald will also tint the flesh/nails greenish-grey in color.
