COLOR MUTATIONS

COLOR MUTATIONS(rare/ultra rare genes) la cause the entire suka's genotype to be overwritten with new visual information. If a marking does not completely alter the entire suka, it's likely not a color mutation. Our color mutations range from only effecting flesh to creating chimeras or specialty coats like Shubunkin.

(Q) Can Color Mutations effect one another?

(A) In some cases, perhaps, like a Chimera could have an Albino side, or Acid could happen on virtually any design. However, most mutations will alter the entirty of the base coat/color/markings and have their own rules. If you have more than 1 color mutation on a suka, it will be up to you to decide which mutation isgoing to take priority over the design, do not try to combine color mutations to make something 'new' unless its suggested in their guide that this is otherwise possible.

(Q) Can I carry color mutations?

(A) Nope, color mutations are still part of the genotype's design, and therefore cannot be carried like physical mutations , or left out, like Lineage only markings.

(Q) Where do I find the Color Mutations?

(A) Click the UNDERLINED text below to go to a Modifiers page, this is the general modifiers hub/index. Alternatively, you can zoom out (CTRL - )on your webpage, to see more of the header menu up top.

ALBINO & RESTRICTED ALBINO
(albino causes a complete lack of pigment, while restricted albino allows for pink/cream colored markings.)

ACID
(acid only effect the flesh around the eyes, lips, nose, and tongue (not inner ears/paw pads) by creating a galaxy color)

DESERT KOI
(specific to Peculiars (infected) suka , desert koi is similar to shubunkin in pattern, but in a different palette color.)

CROSSCUT
(takes after the wild cross-fox coloration, taking 2 base colors and putting it onto 1 suka.)

CHIMERA
(similar to calico cats in pattern-style, chimera is two genos on one suka.)

SHUBUNKIN
(a suka traditional marking, shubunkin is a more easy to find color mute, creating a koi pattern over the suka.)

SHADOWMARK
(blankets the coat in white, and leaves very distinct facial and chest markings)

SLICK
(paints the entire suka in galaxy or oil slick color types.)
