CROSS COLORS: intro
(!) Cross Colors can only be bred for, offspring breeding rolls will say "Cross [Color] Unlocked", this is how you know a pup of yours can be effected by a Cross Color - just double check they display the right base!
Cross Colors are broken down into which base color takes majority in the color mixing
(So Cross Blacks have more black in the genetics, Cross Blues have more blue in the genetics, and so on.)
For a pup to express a Cross Color,
it must have the matching base of said cross color.

EXAMPLE:
I breed a Black x Blonde, at the top of my litter,
I should see unlocked "Cross Black- Hemlock"

This means ALL pups in my litter, who are BLACK, may have the option of being Hemlock instead.
Not the Blondes or any other pups in the litter can use Hemlock.
CROSS COLORS: HELP
When writing out your PHENOTYPE, specify a Cross Color in the Lineage-Markings section too!!
(don't) Mulberry w/ Saddle, Paint

(do) Mulberry w/ Saddle , Paint
(!!!) Lineage-Markings: Cross Black
. Due to how specific Cross Colors are, you may not shift any colors chosen off the palette.
Cross Colors are completely OPTIONAL to use, gaining a pup with the possibility of having a cross color does not mean you MUST you it if you prefer the original base coat rolled.
Do not add gradients between palettes UNLESS the Cross Coat requires/allows you to do so.
DUNE
cross blonde & sage
Dune is a smokey blonde color similar to the red desert. It tints the flesh and liner a pale red or pink that blends seamlessly into the coat. This is Blonde x Sage, and having either a sage or blonde base will qualify for the Dune color.
Dune sukas often have rich blue shades of eye color or yellow.

*Choose from one palette or the other, but you may show nuance and gradient, it's encouraged you do. Flesh and eye colors may be chosen by users, following the rules above.

TUNDRA
cross sage & champagne
Tundra is a mousey sage base that is just a tad lighter than usual, it's very common to see nuances all along a Tundra coat. This is Sage x Champagne, and having either a sage or champagne base will qualify for the Tundra color.
Tundra sukas should have similar-hued mousey grey / liver / pale chocolate flesh/paw pads, and light/soft colored nails. The eyes are usually brown.

*Must be from the base palette, but eyes/flesh are slightly open for editing to better match your suka.

MULBERRY

HEMLOCK
cross black
Hemlock is a pale liver hue to a rich chocolate. This is Black x Blonde, and requires the pup to have a BLACK base to appear.

*Must be from one of the palettes.

TENEBROUS
cross black & horizon
Tenebrous is a limited ominous color of purple-black hue, it is required that the color occur with nuance or in gradient. This is Black x Horizon, and having a BLACK or HORIZON base will allow you to use this color.
Locking the eyes to a yellow-orange color and the flesh/nails to colors of similar hue with varying value.

CAIMAN
cross rust
Caiman crosses the gator Rust color with Blue to create something murky and alluring, especially if you're a jaguar. This color is Rust x Blue, and requires a RUST base to appear
Caiman will lock the eyes to a straw, yellow, pale green, or rich green and will cause "crackling" effects in the eyes, and allow the pupil to be slim and small, but not fully "slit" in shape.

LEO GOLD
cross champagne
Leo gold is a tan tawny, that typically is shown with nuances or a gradient to the coat. This is Champagne x Blonde, and requires the pup to have a CHAMPAGNE base to appear.
Leos will have a locked eye color to HAZEL, specifically Amber/Green, Green/Brown, Amber/Brown

*Must be from one of the palettes, do not mix the palettes for nuance or gradients.

PERMA
cross blue
Perma is a pale blue-grey color, similar to Tundra, but heavily tints towards the options of blues. This is Blue x Champagne and requires a BLUE base to appear.
Perma has a blue-chow, isabella, to light pink flesh, with no specific eye color.

*A gradient or nuance made with the palette provided is acceptable.

MIMOSA
cross peach
Mimosa is a bubbly pink-orange color, that specifically likes for its palettes to mix together to promote an even further airiness to the color. This is Peach x Scotch and requires a PEACH base to appear.
Peach has a specific pinkish or reddish-brown flesh, while the eyes should remain a pink, yellow, or pale green in color or a mix of the three.

GRIEGE
cross peach
Griege is a pale pink to grey-brown hue, and specifically requires a "fading" gradient on the coat to make it official. This is Peach x Sage and requires a PEACH base to appear.

*A gradient or nuance made with the palette provided is acceptable. There is no eye or flesh requirement.

CROSS COLORS: MUTANT CROSSES
Breeding a Mutant Cross 101
step 1) find a suka with the mutant color you're after. If the suka has a suka in its lineage with the mutant color, this will work as well.
(i.e SS/SD/SSD/etc)

step 2) breed them to any of the variant colors listed.

! you cannot spawn a mutant cross without a mutant cross or cross color being in the visible pedigree.
MUTANT CROSSES
Refers to any cross color with an "unknown variant" that mutated the color into something new, creating a "mutant cross color" / mutant cross / mutant color. These colors are typically more diverse or distinct than a regular cross color, including multiple shades of differing colors. Mutant Crosses get their name there are not 2 exact bases could make the color at hand, instead of perfect crossing, it seems to be more of a spontaneous mutation from the cross color itself. In order to breed a mutant color, you'll need at least (1) suka with the color visible on itself or in it's immediate pedigree or a lot of luck with radical crossing.
example
Kovidar x Horizon
Kovidar x Blue
Kovidar x Peach
Kovidar x Toffee

would all have a 20% chance, per offspring , at making Kovidar.

HOW DO MUTANT CROSSES APPEAR IN LITTERS?
If a mutant cross appears, it will appear directly next to the pup, underneath all other genetics like a color mutation would appear. The color will only be able to appear on pups with a base that was required for breeding. However, all offspring will still be carrying the mutant color gene, in their visible pedigree, allowing them to become breeding stock for at least 4 generations.

if we use the mutant color list from above as reference, let's roll 2 pups.
#1 has a Black base and #2 has a Blue base - only pup #2 is eligible for the Kovidar mutant cross to appear if it is rolled, since Blue is one of the breeding variants listed for Kovidar. This would also apply to any Horizon, Peach, or Toffee-based pups born in this litter.

ARE MUTANT COLORS STILL OPTIONAL?
YES, mutant crosses are optional to apply if your offspring rolls one, you do not have to use it.

RACIDAL CROSSING, WHAT IS IT?
Radical crossing is the act of taking an already cross colored suka (like Perma) and breeding it to a known variant (like Blue) to make a mutant cross (Kovidar). Radical crossing has extreme chances, either producing a high yield of mutant colors or producing none at all. This would follow the same rules of regular cross coloring, and would be the only way to possibly get mutant colors without having the color to begin with.
There is no guaranteed % at which a mutant color will appear when radically breeding.

TERMINOLOGY
Variant = A regular base color = ex. Toffee
Unknown Variant = Mutant cross colors = ex. Kovidar
Cross Color = A regular cross color = ex. Perma
Defaulted Color = regular base colors bred from cross colored/mutant color parents.

Visible Pedigree = in your suka's import info, look to their lineage tree, if you can see the suka with a mutant color in this tree, you may have a chance at producing these pups.

These (3) examples are the only possible ways to produce the mutant color/unknown variant you're after. As you can see with #3 the amount of possible colors can drown out the possibility of rolling the mutant color. All mutant colors are consider VERY RARE if you have to imagine their rarity of passing, and will never appear in any USD shop, Gambler bag, Locked Cage, Pretty Face, or Abandoned pup.
