TASKS

"Tasks" is an umbrella term to describe all of TURP's typical "ARPG" style activities, except ours don't require art / writing entries to receive rolled rewards. Tasks give you raw materials, that you exchange for money, with other merchants, or craft! You unlock tasks by being a certain UXP level, but every user begins with: Collecting & Small Prey Hunting Available *Edge Locations only

Predator Hunts

"Predator hunting is very dangerous and does not always yield a high return on your energy investments. Predator hunting can only be done in a team of 2 or more."

EDGE : 350 UXP required

BADLANDS: Not Yet Available

TASK TYPES IN RELATION TO ENERGY DRAINED

[!] QUICK TASK (1🗲):

5 times / day"Quick Tasks allow you to forgo all buffs (and tack) to start tasking immediately, but you should be aware that Quick Tasks will return far less items, and limit your exploration area to the default location."

[!] REGULAR TASK (2🗲):

2 times / TASK AREA / day"Regular Tasks factor in things like Tack, Energy, UXP, and other gaming aspects that you’ll need to learn about and be aware of; however regular Tasks provide boosts, more exploration areas, and better rewards - as well as choice in what activity you want to do. The more you do in the group, the more you can unlock in activities for all your suka, this is based on our UXP system."

[?] HARDY TASKS (5🗲):

times / TASK AREA / day "Hardy tasks are harder on the suka and will cost more energy. Hardy Tasks include: Solo LrgPH , Predator Hunts (Solo/Team) , and any activity in the Badlands.

[?] BADLANDS TASKS (--🗲):

--- "The Badlands is a separate , special area of the map that will not only cost the initial hardy task energy requirement, but each item you pick up has a weight to it (w.o.m) and that weight will cost your suka more compounding energy loss.

ENERGY🗲
How Long Can Your Suka Last?

“Energy” (🗲)  refers to your suka’s health points and all sukas come with a standard energy level based on what  (XP) they begin with, and as they gain (XP) they can raise their energy levels to allow them to do more at once.

Activities that just require you to send in a GOOGLE FORM (sans art/writing) are activities that will drain your energy. Energy is the trade off for not having to complete art/writing to receive rewards. Your energy needs to be maintained on your own accord, but every 3 months (once a season) the admins will reset all energy levels so that they’re at 100% again.

Q: IS ENERGY ALWAYS REQUIRED FOR TASK-RELATED ACTIVITIES?

A: Most times yes, a suka with 0 Energy may not be able to participate in some activities. Every task type has an initial energy lost to participate (like a payment to enter) which will vary depending on the difficulty of the task.

[ ENERGY REQUIRED PER TASK TYPE ]

Q: WHAT IF MY SUKA RUNS OUT OF ENERGY?

A: A suka with too little energy to enter an activity will be denied, an admin will notify you of this. If your suka enters an activity they continue to lose energy depending on what they encounter during the task activity. If a suka runs out of energy mid-activity, they will “faint” which means they return home only with the items they found before fainting.

[ ENERGY TRACKER ]

Q: WHEN SHOULD I RESTORE MY SUKA'S ENERGY?

A: This is up to you , but we always allow you to pre-apply certain restorative consumables that have extra perks besides energy attached (do so during the google form entry). You should save most normal recipes for when your suka is not out tasking and apply them before entering tasks.

Q: HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY SUKA'S ENERGY LEVELS?

A: In many different ways. One way is by consuming items that will heal or replenish your health or “crafting” recipes and healing boosts. You can head to VALE’S INN , a bathhouse, that will allow you to replenish energy. The more advanced you become with crafting & exploring , you can find and make many more restorative add-ons and learn special recipes.

Q: CAN I GET MORE ᵂᴼᴹ OUTSIDE OF JUST GAINING XP?

A: Yes, certain game items you can find while completing prompts like Monthly Minis, Side Missions, Random Events can at times give you upgrades/tack that will open up your ᵂᴼᴹ limits, storage space for tack, and more energy boosts.

Q:  HOW MUCH ᵂᴼᴹ DOES EACH RAW MATERIAL COST?

A: Depending on the item classification it will range between 2-10ᵂᴼᴹ for a single raw material. For every +2ᵂᴼᴹ there is a loss of -1🗲, which will stack until your suka can carry no more.

[ ENERGY ATTRIBUTE CHART ]

Q: WHAT IF MY SUKA ROLLS AN ITEM, BUT CARRYING IT WOULD SUPERSEDE THE ᵂᴼᴹ LIMIT?

A: A suka can only carry what it has room for, if the next item rolled is too big to fit on the suka then it will not be able to be taken home. Admins will typically remove any items your suka cannot carry back, but if you see a roll return and it looks quite empty - chances are your suka encountered a lot of heavier items during their rolls and just simply could not take those items with them.

WEIGHT LIMITs ᴡᴏᴍ
The More Extreme the Location, The More Energy Loss

“W.O.M” (ᴡ.ᴏ.ᴍ) is a weight limit measurement scale that comes into effect when you’re exploring more high level areas of the game’s map. You will always be warned when ᴡ.ᴏ.ᴍ is in effect.

ᵂᴼᴹ Means “weight of material” , as in the “raw material” you find; it also denotes as the unit of measurement for the item. So while out completing more extreme tasks, if you see a superscript ᵂᴼᴹ then it means the raw material is adding weight onto your suka’s body. The more weight on their body the more energy they will lose. Like energy ᵂᴼᴹ limits will raise with the suka’s XP gains, and ᵂᴼᴹ is not something that has to be maintained or restored, it is an extra stat to pay attention to.

rad

Q: WHERE CAN I FIND MY ᴿᴬᴰ LEVELS?

A: All energy attributes (Energy, WOM, RAD) can be found on the same “Energy Attribute Chart” spreadsheet or on the "Energy Tracker" which shows a specific suka's energy attributes.

Q: CAPPING OUT TO 20ᴿᴬᴰ WILL MAKE ME INCAPABLE OF PARTICIPATING IN ALL TASKS?

A:  Your suka will be allowed to explore/hunt/fish in the regular EDGE locations if they are at the max RAD cap, they just won’t be able to explore “expansion” locations until their ᴿᴬᴰ is lowered.

RADIATION ᴿᴬᴰ
Expansive Lands Come with Expanded Consequences

“RAD” (ᴿᴬᴰ) is a unit of measurement for RADIATION, which is poison that can build up and then lower your suka’s energy per task set until they are too “sick” to participate in Task activities. A RAD SHOT can be used to lower/eliminate radiation a suka collects over time ; Rad Shots can be bought and crafted at VALE’S SHOPS or found while completing Tasks if your suka has specialized tack.

ᴿᴬᴰ is a more passive energy attribute that will collect over time before it actually begins to poison your suka’s energy, causing them to lose more energy per roll on each set. Your suka would need to accumulate 2 ᴿᴬᴰ before they see effects while tasking and low xp suka will cap out at 20ᴿᴬᴰ that will make them too sick to participate in any tasks.

Q: CAN I GO PASS 20ᴿᴬᴰ?

A: This is possible, the higher your suka’s XP the higher their rad cap becomes. Sukas are currently capped at 65 ᴿᴬᴰ (or 1000 XP). Rad will continue to affect your tasks even if you are not in expansive locations
