"THE SYMPTOMS"

Each class has slightly different ways of showing symptoms, most classes have a invisible and visible category to pull from. So when describing types of Infecteds (or your own infected) these are the symptoms one can attribute to infection or infected genetics:

INVISIBLE

Mentioned in roleplays, on an application, or in any written entry featuring your suka.

VISIBLE

Shown on the actual import sheet of the suka, you may apply these w/o a token/brush to reflect your infected class

Q: Can I start with the minimal amount of symptoms and add more later as I write my suka’s plots?

A: Yes, but if you wish to add symptoms after the approval process has happened, you’ll need a NASTY LIVER PILL from “The Witch’s Grave”, which will open your infected up for adding a new symptom one at a time. These pills will not allow you to surpass the maximum number of symptoms though.

Forest

Q: How far can I take “Bloodlust” in writing and plotting?

A: Bloodlust is referred to an uncontrolled phenomenon with infected where they must overconsume or over-hunt and not consume. Sometimes this will lead to cases of cannibalism IF possible. An infected who terrorizes towns or is regularly found to be consuming only sukas will have their privileges revoked. Bloodlust should happen in random bursts, and would not happen too often or every day, a suka may go through a small episode of 2-3 days of overconsumption before they make themselves sick or weak from the energy exerted.

CLASS 3

Carrier, Healthy‣
Peculiar ‣

"CARRIER , HEALTHY

Carrier suka DO NOT require showing symptoms, if they have an oddity mutation it will count as (1) symptom.

Carriers can show 1-4 symptoms from below:

LACKING SENSES

(a poor sense of sight or smell is very common and can effect how well a carrier hunts, tracks, and navigates)

FLOATING JOINTS

(effects the knee/shoulder most often, displacing and dislocating joints from their grooves for a short time ; causes limping, bowlegged stance, pain)

EYE ALTER

(carriers only experience a slight glassy look / sheen to their eyes, and not full blindness/milky pupils/etc)

LIGHT SENSITIVITY

(can cause headaches, early blindness, and issues with being out during daylight ; can lead to early onset blindness)

RAPID TOOTH DECAY

(early and excessive tooth decay well before adulthood ; some carriers can experience jaw aches, headaches, and early sickness if teeth aren't removed)

DROOLING

(common, high amounts of saliva that tend to be clear, sometimes can foam and appear like rabidness)

BLINDNESS

(carrier blindness is typically partial or non-visible, they lose their eyesight but this will not always effect the look of their eyes.)

MINIMAL MANGE

(loss of fur in several small patches or at minimal 1 medium sized patch of loss fur; typically on the undersides , throat, muzzle, paws, or spine)

"SHOWING SYMPTOMS"

Your suka will be required to show symptoms if they fall into any class number and be logged into the INFECTED TRACKER after the 1st day of the upcoming season from when they rolled positive or when they are posted to TURPAdmin if born/semi-custom. So you will have time to adjust or plot towards your suka’s infection, or you may make the change immediately if wanted.

INFO: Showing symptoms on your suka will officially recognize their status as an infected class, if a user refuses to show symptoms by their deadline, the suka will be VOIDED until the necessary alterations have taken place.

INFO:  Once a suka is showing symptoms, their countdown timers will begin and they will be logged into the tracker. You may automatically show (or claim non-visible) symptoms without the use of a Touch up brush or Makeover token, simply submit to form C of the Design Approvals area.

Mentioning or showing too many symptoms will receive a warning or denial of entry from the infected character. When creating an infected character, admins will log your chosen symptoms in your Symptom Slot area. Consider your choices with non-visible AND visible symptoms combined. *Blindness can count as 1 symptom if you want it to affect your suka both visibly and non-visibly, this is optional.
