NAVIGATING THE DEVIANTART MENU
Our front page on deviantART will navigate you the best when used as an index, it leads you to information and different hubs. There are 4 main sections of the front page menu: SEASON , NEWCOMER CORNER, and RETURNING PLAYERS. The 4th one is constantly being recycled with prompts and prizes and therefore links in this are may change from time to time: CURRENT EVENTS.

The very top of our front page journal shows an “OPEN” or “CLOSED” banner that indicates whether admins are attending to NEW inquiries/submissions/etc or whether we’re closed down to handle previous inquiries from the month prior, fixing our rollers, or updating some information.
You MAY STILL SIGN UP, you may still submit miscellaneous art , writing, or roleplays. You will not hear back on anything regarding admin input though, such as Banking, Tasks, Breeding, Sales Hub, and so on - so please be patient!

Current Events,
the Lifeblood
Current Events will update you on the monthly/bi-monthly/ or special activities that are happening in the group. This is actually the BEST place to begin playing, it requires no RPV (Character application) and it is generally entry-level as it guides you through lore, NPCs, and different locations of the group.

The most common events are the Monthly Minis, Loot Rolling , and Side Missions. These activities are updated routinely throughout the season.
SEASONS
Every 3 months our seasons & bonuses will cycle for something new. Some merchants, activities, or reoccurring events are only available during certain seasons.

The next widgets are your SEASONAL BONUS widgets, which will tell you the upcoming weather pattern for the current season and show you possible bonuses you can achieve during the season.

Any timers we have will always be found to the side of our front page, above affiliates.

“COUNTDOWN TO SEASON CLEAN-UP”
This timer counts down to the 1st month of the next (incoming) season, which is when you’ll see the “CLOSED” banner. This is mostly just warning of when the big-main shutdown/group clean up will happen.
“COUNTDOWN TO BI-MONTHLY CRAFTING”
This timer lets you know when the Bi-Monthly crafting items will end (and when the Loot Roll raw material menu will change over.)
“ITEM INQUIRY CYCLE”
This means we’re making NPC icons, peer-reviewing event prompts, or setting up a new challenge and once the timer has ended, it should be ready for players to begin participating.
JOIN OUR DISCORD - NO, SERIOUSLY
We heavily rely on using our discord to alert members of changes, updates, giveaways, extensions, and fun discord-only games. Our members also use this area to share, chat, and sale or trade things. Our tags (instead of @everyone ) are specific to certain alerts only.
Want to only be notified for big changes, or would you like to see every little tweak? You can customize what you want to hear from us, so please join, mute all channels that don’t interest you and opt in for tags that do!
Our admins are also much faster in answering & dealing with errors if you ask in the discord where we can all see your question in the same area and tag the person who may be able to help you most.
SUKA SETUP & WHERE TO FIND THEM
In order for a suka to become “official” it must be approved by admins, then uploaded to our group-admin account, TURPAdmin, after this point there’s no approval to wait for, start playing! You will come across many in-games ways of finding or purchasing suka genos, such as Locked Cages, Breeding, or Slots won through current events; you can always trade or purchase from other players, but we also offer a free startup suka to get you going.
The Geno Quiz
& M.Y.O Semi-Custom
While it's optional to do the “Geno Quiz”, an entry-level look into the navigation, terminology, and lore of our group - you will need to do it if you plan on getting a free-suka. Continue taking the quiz until you pass, we even have a practice quiz with all the questions & correct answers.

(*2022) A MYO option is available to those who pass the quiz, referred to as a "Tier 0 Semi-Custom" and you only get one! If you don't like your Tier 0 anymore, feel free to trade or gift it away, but it cannot be sold for real currency or will be made void and deleted.
The Hubs
& Player Systems
Our "hubs" (dA journal holders) will give you additional insight into each area of the group. It will benefit you to check out each hub area as you'll probably be in these areas a lot for submissions or form entries.

The main hubs you will use are the : Design Approvals, Experience Points & XP Redeems, Trackers & Task/Energy, and the Bank.

[HONORABLE MENTION HUBS]
While these are not the main hubs, you'll find that Get A Suka will hold donations, transfers, and adoptions. USD Hub has all of our group sales & bundles. The Breeding Hub relates to all genetics, reveals, and litters. Our gallery is a holder for all special game items & tack.
Roleplay
& Character Creation
RPV is a term within the group that means you have at least (1) suka who has a character application submitted and approved, as if you were joining any other animal roleplay-group. Not all sukas you own are required to be roleplay-verified, but at least (1) must be if you wish to participate in certain activities, the main one being roleplaying with other members.

TURP’s world is a bit fantastical, making a RPV-character will allow you to more deeply explore the capabilities of suka’s civilization, culture, and history. There are themes of politics, economics, the supernatural, mythical, and other unknowns mixed into the lore. Think of each location as a map location as a small town, dense forest woodland, budding city and less as a small canine-pack sized territory.
PLAYER & SUKA MANAGEMENT HUBS
Experience Points are attributed to both the user and the suka when art/writing is submitted; also whatever entries you submit will also count for currency, sometimes even bonuses can be provided through companions, tack, and events. Redeeming experience will allow you to enter other levels of the game.
“A Tracker is a place to store all of your records for both your personal User Account and Your Sukas. Trackers are required to participate in TURP.” Check out our handy Tracker Tutorial on what we expect to see in terms of setup. Admins will need to comment on your tracker to notify you of purchases, errors, event/activity related things, and also check in on your suka’s experience points. An RP tracker is required if you want to have an RPV character.
If you want to learn how to make “idle” money while playing in TURP, you’ll want to check out “Tasks” which involve hunting, fishing, and collecting. This version of ARPG rolls does not require any art/writing entries to participate, simply setup your suka’s tracker and a user bank account to begin. The more User-Experience Points (UXP) you gain, the more areas of tasking you’ll unlock.
When you do these activities your suka is sent out automatically and the results of their outing are randomized. Tack and choice of location can effect how well they do while out doing tasks. Your suka will be rewarded with Raw Materials, which can be redeemed for currency or kept for crafting.

While your suka is out Tasking, they will lose energy. It’s your responsibility to help them replenish their energy by feeding them recipes or taking them to the local bathhouse for a relaxing spa day. A suka with low energy can fail during a Task and lose their loot!

No matter how you decide to play in TURP a bank account is essential to all members. You will collect items in the game while playing and bank will store those items, your currencies, and track star member status and exclusives earned. You can crafting, redeem goods for currency, and purchase from all of our merchants through the main bank hub. Passing the Geno Quiz will also give you a bonus amount of bones to start with!
ROLEPLAY VERIFIED STATUS & ACCESS
When a slot is purchased under your username, we will check off the next available slot box! We also log your discord-username so you’re approved for any discord-only activities & games.

If you want to roleplay canonically with other players you must be RPV, no matter the reason miscellaneous or otherwise!

You are allowed ONE FREE ROLEPLAY SLOT to begin with and you may purchase more as you play. Bring in only as many characters as you can take care of, because retiring them for new space is difficult and costs in-game money!

Once you have at least (1) RPV suka you’ll have access to certain areas that are RPV-exclusive, you may even be able to use non-rpv sukas you own, so long as you have (1) rpv suka active.

CHARACTER CREATION "CC" APPLICATION
CHARACTER CREATION is only for people who wish to RPV their suka(s), if you just want to upload and get started, check out “Get A Suka” center -> “Design Hub” for approvals.

Your CC app has required aspects that cannot be skipped. You’ll be required to provide both a visual application (if you don’t do art, we allow you to substitute the application with a medallion, but then you will not collect a free small accessory) and a written application, both of which need to go through approvals and possibly corrections.

Do not submit a CC app until AFTER your suka’s design has been approved & uploaded to TURPAdmin.

Once your CC app is approved, you’re officially RPV and you may begin doing pretty much everything there is to offer. Start small, build up your experience and stats through art/writing, and then try to approach joining a pack or participating in roleplays.
