"Tolie is regarded as a very elegant, lace-like marking that is a mutation of ticking and freckling. It occurs sparsely across the body and has a lot of freedom with its color choices. It is distinctly 'tear dropped' or 'leaf' shaped, and often times does not have to majorly connect. Tolie typically follows the flow of the body and fur, but this is not always the case. Tolie usually does not occur over more than 30-40% of the body and is allowed to be symmetrical. "
