"Sunbleach"

Sunbleach effects the lower end of the suka, engulfing iti n a lightened color relative to the base. The marking itself is always very soft and either lies atop all other non-significant markings or below them all like a modifier. Similar to markings seen in animals like badgers or skunks, the stripe is connected as one solid shape. This marking even allows for some distinct facial markings. It will not touch the chest, neck, or upper facial area of the suka.

MODIFIERS THAT HEAVILY EFFECT THIS MARKING

(Some markings like "Blackened" are self-explanatory in their color change effect, and other modifiers will equally effect all markings in a certain way like "Greying". If a marking mentions a specific modifier, it may be effected heavily or have an altered palette. )

COLOR SHIFTS: Blackened , Cosmic

MARKING VISIBILITY: Can optionally effect Greying V1  & Creme

Coverage & Shape

At minimum, Sunbleach should touch the majority of the tail and hind legs, the dark blue areas represent the approximate minimum. Sunbleach will typically spread from above the knees to the hip at minimum, but at max, it may continue to spread to the spine, belly, and back sides of shoulders.

NOT PASSING

  • Too much shaping or not a soft enough edge.

  • If the Sunbleach is not blurred

  • If the Sunbleach is not above the kneecaps at minimum. (the dark blue shows a bit more spread than this.)

BORDERLINE

Some soft shaping around the flank/top of hips/tail is okay but must stay soft like a sable.

PASSING TIPS

  • Must lie beneath all other markings OR atop all other markings. It may not lie in between different layers of markings.

  • If you have a lot of other markings, be sure to leave the sunbleach more minimal so the base color can still be visible.
