"Cuff is a marking that is made to add highlighting or low-lighting to the coat, while providing the texture of the coat at the same time. Usually appearing on the back of the neck or nape, but occasionally on the front of the body, or even creating 'ringlets' around the neck area. Layering of differ colored cuffing is encouraged and can help make your design look more natural."
